What this notice covers

This notice explains what personal data we process when you use our website and when you contact us (e.g., feedback, research partnerships), why we process it, for how long, who receives it, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

Website logs & security (IP address, timestamp, URL, headers; generated by our server/CDN) Purpose: operate and secure the site; prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: typically 30–90 days (security logs may be kept longer if needed).
Cookies & analytics (see /cookies) Purpose: essential operation; optional analytics with your consent. Legal basis: essential = legitimate interests; analytics = consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Retention: per cookie durations.
Contact/Feedback messages (name, email, message, attachments; optional) Purpose: respond to your request; improve our materials. Legal basis: legitimate interests or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(f)/(b)). Retention: usually 6-12 months unless a longer period is needed for follow-up.
Partnership enquiries (academia/clinical/industry) Purpose: evaluate and manage potential collaboration under NDA/MTA if applicable. Legal basis: legitimate interests; steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(f)/(b)). Retention: project lifecycle + 3–10 years depending on legal requirements.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data via the site. Please avoid including personal medical details in free-text fields.

2) Recipients & processors

We may use vetted service providers (e.g., hosting/CDN, email and file storage, website analytics) acting under data-processing agreements. We do not sell your data.

3) Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (does not affect prior processing).
